My Journey
My fascination with technology started with a simple question: "How does this actually work?" That curiosity led me to build my first homelab, a Proxmox server running in my room that quickly became my personal playground for learning Linux, networking, and containerization. What began as simple weekend experiments evolved into a passion for understanding systems from the ground up.
Now studying Computer Information Systems at Okanagan College, I'm combining hands-on infrastructure experience with formal software development training. From building full-stack applications to managing Docker containers, I thrive at the intersection of development and operations; writing code that runs reliably and maintains easily.
What Drives Me
I believe the best software is built by people who understand the infrastructure it runs on, and the best infrastructure is designed by those who think like developers. This philosophy drives everything I do, whether I'm optimizing database queries in PostgreSQL, orchestrating containers in my homelab, or designing efficient and resilient architectures for class projects.
I'm seeking a co-op or entry-level position where I can bring my unique blend of development skills and infrastructure knowledge to solve real-world problems.
